An extension of the dynamic and oh so iconic duo, Ruby Francis and Shannon Rae. If you know them, you know they bring the wickedest vibes and you are in for a treat. Born out of their mutual love for great music, energy and dance, they’ve created a space to bring their favourite DJs and their community together to celebrate culture, sounds and creativity! This is for the music lovers, the enthusiasts and the people that dance like no one is watching.

Dancing Body Festival Launch Event - with LeaLea

Maharani Born in the Netherlands with Indian Tamil roots, Maharani is a multilingual singer-songwriter making waves in the music industry with her unique blend of RnB, Trap-Soul and South Asian music.
Naya Yeira London-based, Jakarta-born 23-year-old singer-songwriter with a unique quality to her music. Laced with R’n’B, pop and hip-hop references, her soulful vocals, celestial aesthetic and candid lyricism converge in a fresh and ethereal, genre-blending sonics.
Idele East London, British Nigerian Idele creates alternative RnB music influenced by old school Soul and RnB. Idele found her inspiration in the old Motown records and 90's RnB tracks her mum and sister played for her. Connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for new music, community and expression by women and non-binary people of colour.
Sahāya is a platform dedicated to celebrating and uplifting female and non-binary musicians and artists from BIPOC Backgrounds. We recognise that the music industry has long been exclusionary, with BIPOC communities facing difficulties in accessing resources. Sahāya creates community and connection through music performance opportunities, workshops, and meet-ups.

Zara Hudson Kozdoj PRESENTS…
ZARA HUDSON KOZDOJ is a Polish- Jamaican cellist and composer from London. She recorded her debut album at Max Richter’s studios as part of a residency in summer 2024. Zara is passionate about bridging the gap between classical and pop music, and it’s very important to her to bring orchestral instruments into non- classical spaces. Her album encompasses a broad range of genres and musical styles/ techniques. She also enjoys playing as a member of several bands (Celeste, Max Richter Ensemble, London Contemporary Orchestra, Chineke!)

The Philadelphia based vocalist and guitarist, is influenced heavily by Neo-Soul, Jazz, Funk, and Folk music. Zinadelphia combines elements of all these genres in her debut single ‘Mirrorball’.
With a 7 piece band, Zinadelphia has been making a quick, yet impactful, entrance into the music scene. We are delighted to have Maria Hanlon, back in the Doña house.
The DJ/presenter has been busy playing across the capital, showcasing her signature sound, weaving together the best in Soulful House, Deep House & Garage.
Despite only picking up DJing a few years ago, Maria has been making serious waves on the circuit - last summer saw her return to the infamous Pagoda at Secret Garden Party, Queens Yard Summer Party, Ibiza and make her Snowbombing and Cross The Tracks debut. Maria also hosts ‘The Voices Breakfast Show with Maria Hanlon’ on Voices Radio, one of London’s most exciting radio stations.

Dona Presents: Nora + ANA - ONDA SAOCO
Born in Italy to Moroccan parents and now based in London, Nora is an open-format dj, radio host, and music curator. She is particularly passionate about researching different cultures and traditions through their music, allowing her to create sonic connections between a broad range of genres, including sounds from Africa and the Middle East to the Americas and the Caribbean.
Ultimately, her aim is to blend music that feels like home to some, whilst introducing fresh and infectious rhythms to others.
Ana Isabela is a English-Honduran multi-genre DJ based in London. Her diverse sound spans everything from merengue to kuduro, dancehall to bouyon, blending traditional genres with modern electronic beats. Having a similar enthusiasm for international travel, her sets often pay homage to the artists and tracks from regions she visits. Sexy, fun, and undeniably rhythmic, her sets create an atmosphere of joy, energy, and movement—packed with heavy drums and infectious sounds. Whatever the vibe, she ensures that each track radiates the same excitement, love and freedom she feels when she plays.
Ana and Nora have come together to develop a project calledOnda Saoco, inspired by the percussive foundations that make up the genres they love, encompassing the cultures of Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Having organically formed a bond through music, this duo is set to bring a fresh new experience blending nostalgic sounds and contemporary anthems with a feminine touch.

Alkanna Greaca is a vocal trio blending raw folk traditions from the Balkans, Mediterranean, and Black Sea with free improvisation and expansive soundscapes. Formed by Dunja Botic, Alexandra Achillea, and Irini Arabatzi, the trio’s music intertwines the rich cultural heritage of their homelands with a bold, boundary-pushing edge.
Together, they create a sound that is earthy, timeless, and steeped in tradition—stripped bare, transformed, and reborn through improvisation.

Our first DJ of March has many strings to her bow and the genres she spins represents her wide range talents!
Jasmine Rowland is an International DJ, Journalist & Presenter who has played at a variety of clubs, events, bars & sporting venues across the country. She currently DJs across the UK (London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Brighton etc) and overseas! Recently spinning at PIANOS Club in NYC and doing a run of summer sets in Ibiza.
With energy at the forefront of her performances - she has supported the likes of Hamzaa, Conducta, Mahalia, Bluetoof, Never Dull, Sammy Virji & Soul Mass Transit System! She currently works with the BBC, KISS FM & SONY Music.

VERSES Poetry Night, one of the best kept secrets in the scene is back! Its February and that can only mean one thing........its the return of Bad Valentines! Our annual show is a jewel in the VERSES crown and we are excited to showcase the best talent from across the UK, from veterans to first timers.
Seeking to make poetry accessible and affordable, our events are affordable and inclusive and our performers touch on everything from race, gender, relationships, sexuality and mental health,

Chiminyo is a drummer, producer and DJ who has been making waves in the jazz and electronic scenes, having played in projects alongside the likes of Gary Bartz, Shabaka Hutchins and Nubya Garcia. His DJ sets fuse his passions for West African groove, Brazilian Funk, Broken Beat & House together in an eclectic and mesmerising mix. Having played Glastonbury, We Out Here, Love Supreme and many more, he’s a regular name on many London Radio stations and a Jazz FM award winner and Worldwide FM award nominee. OLAYÁ - Brazilian flutes & grooves
Olayá is a flute and percussion band inspired by Brazilian bandas de pifanos (bamboo flutes), with the elemental forces of flutes, vocal harmonies, percussion and bass. Olayá’s music is heavily rhythmic and contagiously fun!
Olayá are returning to Doña - home of their debut gig in 2023 and we are so excited to have them back!
Premiering some new original tunes, in anticipation of their upcoming EP. Olayá have since played at UK festivals such as Wilderness, Jaminaround, Basket of Light, Smugglers plus many more.

Astrology Circles - Galentines Social

Dona Presents: JJAMZ
JJAMZ is a DJ and producer based out of Brixton, South London. Originally a keyboard player for jazz/funk band Odyssea and Ska-punk band Bainbridge & Co, he began DJing a couple of years ago, and runs the influential party and collective Utopia Presents. His sound is influenced heavily by early New York club music as well as UK dance music from the 2000s, and he’s all about putting the soul back into electronic music, whether that’s through playing broken beat, UK funky, Desi dancefloor hits or deep, Afro and spiritual house.
2024 has seen him enter the world of production, with his debut dance music EP 'Illusions' receiving acclaim from a number of DJs and producers across London's dance music circuit, which he followed up with August's 'Jopling Street', a track that repurposed '60s Bollywood samples into a dancefloor ready UK funky heater.
With a monthly residency on South London's era defining radio station Balamii, as well as regular DJ sets at his Utopia parties and beyond, JJAMZ is a name to keep an eye on with a number of exciting upcoming projects.

Join us, the first Wednesday of every month with our resident all women comedy night!
Fun'n' friendly comedy night showcasing the girls, gays & theys in an independent female owned cocktail bar. Come swathe yourself in Doña's plush pink surroundings, sip a signature mezcal cocktail and let yourself be entertained. The line-ups are made up of sparkly up-and-coming talent mixed with established stars. Frida KahLOL is proud to have a special debutante slot for new performers to try comedy for the first time in a supportive (and glamorous) environment.
Tickets are a bargain as "Nothing is worth more than laughing" - Frida Kahlo.
Doors open at 7pm for drinks and show time is at 8pm. We recommend arriving early enough to secure your favourite chaise longe/table seats.
