SLUGSRAISER PARTY
Slugs FC are throwing a hot and slimy party this spring to keep the team going, celebrate our slugccesses and get all our friends on the dancefloor.
Expect short films, cute chats, limited edition merch, a very major raffle, slugs you can flirt with and big slimy bangers from our teammate djs.
Proceeds from the night will go towards SLUGS FC, a queer grassroots football team based in East London, to help us keep training, playing and winning. We've recently been hit with rising pitch hire and league costs and we'd like to continue offering subsidised places to teammates who otherwise might not be able to leave their trails on the pitch.
Let's keep SLUGS FC accessible and open to all!

Thaïs Ray (ta-ees) is a Paris-born, London-based singer-songwriter blending Indie Pop with Soul influences. Since her 2024 debut, Thaïs Ray receives support from BBC Introducing London and Spotify editorial, along with recognition from Record Of The Day. Last year, she reached the Top 2K UK Artists.
Her debut EP, A french love letter, officially releases at midnight that evening, exploring distance in love, friendship, and the journey inward toward self-love and womanhood. This launch show at Dona is your first chance to hear the EP live, performed with a full band, along with her previously released singles.

Fun'n' friendly comedy night showcasing the girls, gays & theys in an independent female owned cocktail bar. Come swathe yourself in Doña's plush pink surroundings, sip a signature mezcal cocktail and let yourself be entertained. The line-ups are made up of sparkly up-and-coming talent mixed with established stars. Frida KahLOL is proud to have a special debutante slot for new performers to try comedy for the first time in a supportive (and glamorous) environment.

Krystyn - Red Wine Release Show
Krystyn, hailing from the sunny streets of Glasgow's South Side, quickly gained huge recognition across social media after sharing a series of videos playing originals and covers live from her bedroom. One cover of 'Take Me Out' shot to particular fame with 62k usages on Tiktok and 700k streams on spotify in a few months. Another track thats built incredible traction is her song 'Red Wine', that excitingly dropped on the 30th March after much viral hype on socials. This will kick start the launch of her debut EP dropping later this year, along side her first London headline

Leopold’s sets are a feel good journey into his expansive taste, blurring genre boundaries and merging the old with the new. A deep digger with a penchant for timeless grooves and forward thinking sounds, his sets take on the worlds of soul, funk, house, jazz, broken beat, hip hop and more.
Red Lips
Join us at Doña in Dalston on Thursday 20 April for a night of flirting, dancing, and speed dating. This in-person dating event comes with a difference: tickets are sold to queer single women who have to bring another queer single woman along with them. That way, it ensures that everyone in attendance has been vetted by another person.
Each ticket includes one free drink on arrival.
RED LIPS puts women first because it's what we deserve.
While there's no specific age range, please bear in mind that these events are currently aimed at women in their 30s and are inclusive of all queer and trans women as well as non-binary people.
NB: Tickets for RED LIPS are sold in pairs. Each £40 ticket you purchase through Eventbrite grants you two tickets, priced at £20 each.
Life on Venus VOL.4 : Femininity VS The People
“Life on Venus” is hosting an immersive, feminist courtroom-themed event for FLINTA folks, where performers stand trial and the audience acts as the jury. Through performances, workshops, and discussions, it explores stereotypes and accusations around femininity in a playful yet thought-provoking way. The event emphasizes consent, creativity, and self-expression, with a dress code encouraging bold, “courtroom-inappropriate” outfits.

VALERIA weaves roots drum music from Abya Yala with deep electronic pulses, a ceremony for body and soul on the dancefloor. She’s the DJ behind La Matandó and has played at iconic London parties such as Serpiente Cósmica, Bonita, Muévete! and Clandestina, and festivals like Wilderness and Tonnau.
Expect a lush blend of folkloric to futuristic afro-latin electronic sounds on the dance floor. Buena música, buena vibra y mucha sabrosura y amor asegurados!
Sapphic Salsa

On Thursday 19th March we’re hosting a Salsa & Sobremesa night at the sexy Bar Doña.
The night will start with a one hour salsa lesson from 8-9pm. This will be super chilled, very beginner friendly, but all abilities are more than welcome. This will be followed by a classic ‘Sapphic Nights’ social; music, drinks, games and dancing too if people wish. Relax in Doña’s calm, sexy interior, sharing nibbles and mezcal between your new found queer friends.
If you wish to skip the salsa class, and come for the sobremesa, please feel free to do so! The venue will be open until 1am.

Our Latin Thing takes over Bar Doña for a night dedicated to progressive salsa — a celebration of the genre’s most forward-thinking sounds. Expect bold, boundary-pushing selections that capture the evolution of Latin music’s artistry. This is salsa with a vision — progressive, percussive, and unapologetically alive.
Adding to the energy, a live percussion trio of timbales, congas, and bongos will bring the music to life, featuring special guest and selector Will Fox — South London’s renowned Latin music specialist, vinyl collector, and percussionist.

Henry Bravo is a Venezuelan percussionist, DJ, and dancer using Latin music as a common thread, Henry takes audiences on a rhythmic journey tracing the roots of modern Latin music — from African rhythms through genres such as Guaracha, Danzón, Cha-cha-chá, Bolero, Son Montuno, Mambo, Merengue, Plena, and Timba, all the way to what we now know as Salsa.

Casa del Soul is where DJs, dancers, and fashion lovers come together to let loose, express themselves, and dance the night away in style - this edition is extra special as we celebrate our friend Payam’s birthday, bringing even more energy to the floor. Expect a vibrant Latin core sound layered with a fusion of global flavours throughout the night. Everyone attending is invited to take part in our dance competition, where you’ll be rated on your funky moves, style, and confidence for the chance to win a fun prize.
