Daniel Dias aka BBD is a DJ and music producer based in Rio de Janeiro. His sound brings Brazilian funk to the global dance floor, dissolving genre boundaries and placing it firmly within the landscape of contemporary electronic music.
In BBD’s sets, funk collides with house and afrobeats, shaping a triangular Afro-diasporic soundscape — warm, pulsating, designed to heat the heart and move the body.
Beyond the booth, Daniel is the founder of Mariwô, a collective that draws crowds and mobilizes Black and queer youth wherever it goes, turning each gathering into a celebration of resistance, pleasure, and community.

She's had the pleasure of playing at We Out Here festival, Yazmin Lacey’s Rinse FM show, is apart of the JMG Collective and has done takeover on Foundation FM, as well as nights at The Haggerston, The Standard and other London venues.
